220-270m² whole floor luxury apartments

This project began as an interiors and documentation brief. Working within the existing DA envelope we reworked the design increasing the floor area and the overall outcome. We were able to add value by relocating all the circulation and externalising the fire stair which in turn provided each apartment with a back door and a landscaped link to the rear lane. This was achieved with a Section 96 application to council and demonstrates the benefits achievable with strategic design thinking. This project also demonstrates our approach to interiors as an integrated part of our design service.
